LONDON: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will return to Pakistan today after a brief stay in Saudi Arabia, said his son Hasan Nawaz, denying rumours that Nawaz will return to London instead.
The former premier's son, after visiting his ailing mother, spoke to Geo News and said that Nawaz will presenthimself resent before the courts upon his return.
Hasan spoke about his mother undergoing treatment for cancer, saying that some blood tests were done of Kulsoom Nawaz and she will likely stay in the hospital for two more days.
On Tuesday, responding to a well-wisher on Twitter, Maryam Nawaz said her mother has been hospitalised again and asked for prayers for her recovery.
Nawaz had been in London to spend time with his wife since October 5 until October 23, when he left for Jeddah en route to Pakistan.
He is expected to appear in court on Thursday for the hearing of the corruption cases against him.
