Corps Commanders Conference: Will respond effectively to any Indian misadventure

RAWALPINDI:The military’s top brass on Wednesday reiterated, during the Corps Commanders Conference, that any Indian misadventure shall be responded to effectively, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The forum, chaired by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, also said that ceasefire violations by Pakistan’s eastern neighbour are detrimental to peace in the region.

ISPR further added that the military leadership also reviewed the geostrategic and security environment, especially in the context of US related policies for the region.

Progress of the ongoing Operation Raddul Fasaad was discussed and the forum reiterated that gains of years long counter-terrorism efforts shall be consolidated to achieve enduring peace and stability both for Pakistan and the region

The meeting concluded that national interest shall be kept at the premium while cooperating with all other stakeholders for regional peace and stability.
