KARACHI: At least two policemen were killed and 15 injured Friday morning when a bomb explosion ripped through their bus in Karachi.
Officials said that the bus carrying police commandos had departed from the Razaqabad training centre and had just reached the Malir bridge when terrorists detonated a bomb planted inside a motorcycle parked by the side of the road.
Two policemen were killed and more than 15 injured, who are currently being treated at the Jinnah hospital.
The police commandos belonged to the Special Service Unit, an elite squad that guards VIPs, and were on their way to guard Bilawal House in Clifton, the residence of former president Asif Ali Zardari.
