ISLAMABAD: A terror bid was averted when the police and Bomb Disposal Squad personnel on Tuesday defused a hand grenade found hidden in the capital’s Sector I-10.
The live hand grenade was defused after timely action by the police and BDS, informed SHO of Sabzi Mandi police station.
Forensic experts who arrived at the site have collected fingerprints found on the grenade, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
