50 militants killed in Mohmand Agency

MOHMAND AGENCY: At least 50 militants have so far been killed and several others injured in two days as a result of the ongoing offensive against insurgents in Mohamand Agency, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to the officials of political administration, 50 militants were killed and scores others injurd in the ongoing operation being carried out in Tehsil Saafi and Baizai.

They further said that the security forces also pounded militants hideouts with the help of gunship helicopters.

Security forces continue to push its way through Soran Dara and Baidmai areas of Baizai.

Meanwhile, two militants’ dens were destroyed in Dawezai area of Pindyali while a crop of poppy on 10-canal land was also scrapped in Padan Ghaar area.
