ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 14 persons including two women from different areas of the city and recovered 2.210 kilogram hashish, 143 wine bottles, fake currency worth Rs. 6,000, 150 gram heroin, four pistols and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said.
Aabpara police arrested three persons identified as Fayaaz, Samar and Labaik for having six fake currency notes of Rs. 1,000 while Tarnol police station nabbed Wajahat Bibi for having 1.110 kilogram hashish and also Shabir Ahmed for possessing 1.100 kilogram hashish.
Koral police arrested Muneer Abbassi for having 140 wine bottles while three wine bottles were recovered from Iftikhar Hussain Shah by Shehzad town police station.
Secretariat police station nabbed two thieves Ibrar Shah and Ishtiaq Shah for having stolen items worth Rs. 40,000 while Sihala police recovered two pistols from Muhammad Ali and Abbass.
Sabzi Mandi police arrested an accused Ali for having 30 bore pistol while Kohsar police apprehended Imran Maseeh for having 150 gram heroin.
CIA police recovered a 30 bore pistol from Ramzan.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons under relevant sections and further investigation is underway. (APP)
