Barak offers Gaza ceasefire if Palestinians join

JERUSALEM: Israel is ready to stop firing at armed Palestinian groups in the Gaza Strip if the Palestinians reciprocate, Defence Minister Ehud Barak said Sunday on Israeli public radio.
