Road blocked in Clifton against load shedding

KARACHI: Shopkeepers of Kehkashan, Clifton market area took to the streets against frequent electricity load shedding and blocked the main road near Teen Talwar, causing huge traffic jams.

The protestors raised slogans against the Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) and demanded to end load shedding in Karachi.

A duty officer at Clifton Police Station Sub said that the traders and the area residents took to the streets and blocked Khyaban-e-Iqbal Road near Teen Talwar area to protest against the prolong load shedding of electricity.

He said traffic remained jam in whole area due to the protest. The police rushed to the scene to clear the road blockade.(PPI)
