SARGODHA: A case of potential illegal vehicle trade has surfaced here in Muhafiz Town, Excise Department officials said Sunday, after the fake registration of some vehicles was identified.
According to the officials, four cars had been registered in the name of Allah Ditta, a 60-year-old Muhafiz Town resident, who, in response, said he had never even bought a cycle in his life and, therefore, had no links the vehicles identified.
"Reports of illegal buying and selling of vehicles hassurfaced" in Sargodha, the officials said, adding that the discovery of a possible crime was made after a traffic accident, wherein the identification of a car led to the fake registration.
