ISLAMABAD: The federal government announced on Saturday that it will officially celebrate themonth of Rabiul Awwal.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry announced the government’s decision on Twitter.
“The government will celebrate the month of Rabiul Awwal officially. The information ministry has chalked-out programs in this regard. Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the International Rahmatul-lil-Alameen (S.A.W.W) Conference,” Chaudhry tweeted.
On November 6, the federal government had announced that will host a two-day Khatm-e-Nabuwat (Peace Be Upon Him) Conference in Islamabad, which will be attended by Imam-e-Ka'aba, vice chancellor of Al-Azhar University, Mufti of Syria, and scholars from Iraq and Tunisia.
The religious scholars attending the two-day conference will highlight different aspects of the holy life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), according to a statement issued from the PM's office.
