Here's what Mira Sethi has to say about memes on her engagement post

Actor-cum-writer Mira Sethi on Thursday said she has loved all the memes, jokes and laughter that have been circulating on social media following her Instagram post announcing her engagement.

Earlier this week, Mira took to Instagram and posted a heartfelt note sharing how she met her fiance Bilal.

One of the lines from her post, specifically when she quoted her fiance as asking her "Tum theek ho? Thand tou nahi lag rahi?" when they were cycling in a desert, went viral.

Social media was flooded with memes and GIFs using that line.

Responding to a Twitter user who said it had become “our national catchphrase”, Mira said, “I’ve loved all the memes, GIFs, the laughter, the affectionate eye-rolling — big love.”

Mira had also shared pictures from her engagement and shared how her fiance Bilal's love changed her. “A Mira more spontaneous, more adventurous, more open. Also vulnerable — and increasingly okay with the idea of vulnerability. This was new terrain for me,” she wrote. ⁣
