KARACHI: Many Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flights have been delayed and cancelled owing to operational reasons and technical flaws, Geo News reported.

PIA sources said that flight no PK-302 from Karachi to Lahore has been delayed for four hours and a flight no PK-303 from Lahore to Karachi has been delayed for three hours.

According to sources, PIA’s flights PK-507 and 509 bound for Karachi, Turbat, Gwadar and Panjgor have been cancelled due to operational causes.

Two domestic flights no PK-501 and 502 from Karachi to Turbat and vice-versa departed late for two hours.

PIA’s spokesman said the delay and cancellation of flights were due to technical flaws in airplanes and operational reasons.
