KARACHI: Geo News on Thursday received CCTV video of the car bomb explosion in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) neighbourhood of the city.
The explosion was reported on Monday, in a plot on DHA’s Khayaban-e-Shamsheer. DIG South Karachi Javed Odho said the homemade bomb caused the explosion in the car which had been stolen from Jamshed Quarter the previous evening.
At least 8-10kg of explosives were combined with seven gas cylinders to cause the explosion, along with a 6m long detonating cord, Odho said.
