LAHORE: Justice Sardar Muhammad Shamim Khan took oath as Chief Justice of Lahore High Court at Governor's House Lahore on Tuesday.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar administered the oath to the new chief justice.
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, members of the provincial cabinet and other dignitaries were also present at the oath-taking ceremony.
Justice Shamim is the 48th chief justice of the Lahore High Court.
