Malik conveys Zardari’s message to Saudi King

RIYADH: Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik Saturday met Saudi King Shah Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and conveyed the President Asif Zardari’s special message to him, Geo News reported.

According to a press release issued from Interior Ministry, the minister A. Rehman Malik held meeting with Saudi King Shah Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz here in the capital city of Saudi Arabia and apprised the king of President Asif Ali Zardari’s special message.

On the occasion, Saudi King said his country attaches high value to the relations with Pakistan, adding that he would soon visit Pakistan.

Later, the minister held meeting with the head of Saudi National Security Council (SNSC) Prince Bandar Bin Abdul Aziz and discussed the issues relating to security and bilateral interests.

Also, Pakistan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia was present on the occasion, the press release said.
