KARACHI: Bin Qasim police of Karachi got freed an industrialist from Ali Mohammed Goth near National Highway on Thursday after encounter with the kidnappers killing two of them.

The accused had kidnapped the textile mill owner Fawad Mirza on 4th May while he was on way to Korangi from Defense and demanded 60 million ransom from his family.

Police on a tip off raided at hideout of the kidnappers in Ali Mohammed Goth. During exchange of fire two kidnappers were killed while two of them managed to run away under the cover of firing.

Police identified one killed accused as Waqar, 25, while identity of the other is yet to be ascertained.

The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsy. No case was registered till filing of this story.

Police also recovered a Kalashnikov and TT pistol from the possession of killed bandits. (PPI)
