KARACHI: Doctors, paramedical staff and nurses of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) continue their protest for 12th day on Friday against the devolution of JPMC.
On Friday a large number of outdoor patients faced trouble due to unavailability of doctors.
Meanwhile, Co-chairman of action committee of federal hospitals, Dr. Sameer Qurishi said that they had been peacefully protesting for last two week but none of the government representative had contacted them yet.
He warned a change in the peaceful protest and said the government would be responsible for it. Dr. Sameer claimed that the protest on Friday was only for one hour which did not affect any patient.
He called upon the government to immediately resolve the issue so that the patients of hospital run under federal government do not face any trouble. (PPI)
