ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry Monday said that Kashmir is neither a part of India, nor will it ever be.

The information minister said so while addressing Kashmir Conference in Islamabad. He said New Delhi will have to put an end to atrocities in the occupied valley and it will have to give the same rights to Kashmiri people, which are given to the citizens of an independent state.

"Bloodshed intensifies an already burning fire, it does not douse the blaze," Chaudhry said.

Reiterating that Pakistan wants peace, he invited India for a dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues.

Earlier in a statement, the minister said the entire nation is united against the threat of Indian aggression.

He said all political parties are on one page on Pakistan's solidarity and the whole nation stands by the armed forces of the country.

Chaudhry said Pakistan wants normalisation of relations with India and Prime Minister Imran Khan has categorically presented his stance on the relationship with New Delhi.

He said if India does introspection it would realise that it has committed more mistakes.
