PEMRA chairman Malik Mushtaq steps down

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) chairman Malik Mushataq has tendered his resignation from the post on late Friday, Geo News reported.

Malik Mushtaq was on leave for many weeks.

Sources told Geo News that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has accepted his resignation.

After accepting resignation, the premier sent his resignation to cabinet division for formal proceedings, sources said.
