ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik has said the Islamabad police are short of money for fuel therefore police are borrowing petrol from fuel stations for their vehicles to run, Geo News reported.

Seeking loan is not an offense, he said adding that the entire country is running on loans.

Talking to media in a national conference, Malik said Pakistan is undergoing a critical situation, revealing that there are reports of rise in tension on our western borders.

“Pakistan’s sacrifices for the betterment of entire world in war on terrorism are more than any other country, ” Malik underlined, rebuking that international media are doing nothing but criticizing Pakistan’s sincerity.

To a question, he said police have not committed a crime by fueling vehicles on loan.
