Zoheb Hassan, the brother of late Nazia Hassan has said, Pakistan's pop queen’s song Dosti and Disco Deewane will be playing at the closing ceremony of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as a tribute to the late singer.

The singer posted the news on Twitter, “I am pleased to offer our song Dosti to PSL. It will feature along with Disco Deewane as a special Tribute to my (late) sister Nazia Hassan at the HBL PSL closing ceremony in Karachi.”

The closing ceremony of the fourth edition of PSL will be held at Karachi’s National Stadium on March 17.

Earlier, Hassan had accused PSL of copyright infringement over the duo’s iconic song Disco Dewane, which was sang by Aima Baig at the opening ceremony on February 14.

Hassan in a tweet had expressed shock over the rendition by the franchise without prior permission. He had also threatened to take legal action on the act.

He said: “I was shocked to see that a reputable platform like PSL used our track Disco Dewane without our prior permission. Outright infringement of intellectual property should be condemned and I am going to take a legal stand on this one!”.
