Blast in Peshawar hits US consulate vehicle

PESHAWAR: A car bomb in the Pakistani city of Peshawar hit a U.S. consulate vehicle but caused no American deaths or serious injuries, a U.S. embassy spokesman said.

"There was an attack on a two-car convoy from the consulate in Peshawar. One car was hit," said embassy spokesman, Alberto Rodriguez. (Reuters)
