Pakistan shares its findings with India on Pulwama attack
Islamabad says acted with a 'high sense of responsibility and extended full cooperation'
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday shared its findings with India on Pulwama attack in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK), which had left 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers dead last month.
The Government of Pakistan has shared preliminary findings with the Government of India after examining the Indian report on Pulwama incident, said a statement issued from the Foreign Office of Pakistan.
The findings were shared through the Indian high commissioner in Islamabad, who was summoned to the Foreign Office by Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua.
Prime Minister Imran Khan had earlier offered cooperation in investigation of Pulwama attack, if "actionable intelligence" was provided by New Delhi.
In response to the offer, a paper was handed over to Pakistan on February 27.
"Pakistan has acted with a high sense of responsibility and extended full cooperation," the Foreign Office further said in its statement.
"We do so in the interest of regional peace and security," it added.
The statement, however, said that Pakistan had sought further information or evidence from India to take the process forward.
