Man buries wife in house after killing

QUETTA: A man buried his wife in room of his house after murdering her on suspicion of having illicit relations with a person in Eastern Bypass area of the provincial capital.

"Ameer Bakhsh strangulated his wife Jamila Bibi and buried her dead body in room of his house," police said on Saturday.

He had got married with Jamila two months back.

Later, he informed Nazar Muhammad, the brother of the victim woman about his crime and managed to flee.

"I reached the house of Bakhsh and exhumed the body of my sister buried in the room," Nazar Muhammad told police.

He maintained that his brother in law Bakhsh killed Jamila under malicious intentions and later accused her having illicit relations with a person.

The police shifted the body to Bolan Medical College hospital.

According to the autopsy report, the body was one day old and the cause of the death was strangulation with a rope. The marks of severe torture were also found on the body of the victim woman.

On the complaint of Muhammad, police have registered a case against the accused Bakhsh and started efforts to trace and arrest him.
