Justice Javed ready to head Abt commission

ISLAMABAD: Senior Judge of Supreme Justice Javed Iqbal has stated that he personally has no objection to head Abbottabad Commission and that he consider it as ‘national service’, Geo News reported.

Talking to ‘Geo’ Justice Javed Iqbal said that after the notification, seeking the consent of Chief Justice is an administrative process.

He further said he must serve the nation if any high-level commission unveils the truth. The commission is not complete after an honorable member Fakhruddin G. Ibrahim refused to be part of it, he added.

To a question, he said he came to know about the commission via television.
