Coast Guards seize 650kg hashish

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards officials seized a huge quantity of hashish from Gwadar near Post Office area of Baluchistan.

As per details PCG troops during routine sea and land patrolling near Gwadar Post Office Baluchistan signaled a suspected vehicle near the coastline. On being challenged the smugglers opened indiscriminate firing which was also retaliated by the PCG troops.

After the exchange of heavy firing the traffickers managed to flee from the sight taking advantage of darkness and left the vehicle on the spot.

Later, on searching the vehicle PCG team recovered 650 kilograms of hashish and a Kalashnikov from it. Further investigation was underway. (PPI)
