PESCO recovers Rs.46.86m, remove 1473 hooks, 331 FIR lodged

PESHAWAR: During operation cleanup Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) authorities on Friday recovered Rs.46.86m on the spot in Peshawar circle including Cantt, City, City Rural, Cantt Rural, Charsadda and Shabqadar divisions.

The company has successfully removed 1473 direct hooks while FIRs have been lodged against 331 consumers for using illegal electricity.

Chief Executive PESCO Muhammad Wali has directed all the field officers and staff to fully utilize their energies for the removal of Kundas and recovery of arrears so that the electricity distribution system should become smooth and public may get rid of power interruptions.
