LAHORE: Lahore police officers forcefully entered into a house here in the city's Johar Town area, assaulted multiple people, including women, andfilmed an objectionable video of a woman as well, a video obtained by Geo News on Tuesday showed.

The video further showed that bothuniformedand plainclothes officers forced entry into the house, pushed people who had gathered outside and took them inside, slapped those who were inside, and useddisgusting language towards everyone.

Verbally abusing people in the house, one plainclothes officer continued filming the entire ordeal. One of the women pleaded by joining hands together not to film an objectionable video but the plainclothes officer did not listen.

According to police sources, neither a first information report (FIR) has been filed against any of the officers involved nor any of them brought to the police station. The suspects werelet go after some kind of underhanded settlement, the sources added.

On the other hand,Ashfaq Khan, the deputy inspector-general (DIG) of police for operations, said theincident was from April. Three officers of the Punjab Constabulary had donned the uniform of Lahore Police and, accompanied by a previously-fired officer, had broken into the house, he added.

Once the incident was reported, an FIR — including a clause of dacoity — was registered against all four officers and they would be arrestedsoon, he said, adding that all three of the Punjab Constabulary officers were absconding.
