Two NATO oil tankers destroyed in firing

SIBI/DHADAR: Two NATO oil tankers were destroyed by firing while driver was injured near Dhadar along Quetta-Sibi section of national highway Wednesday.

According to details, two tankers were carrying oil for NATO in Afghanistan from interior of Sindh today. When they reached Kumbri near Dhadar (District Bolan) along Quetta-Sibi section of national highway, miscreants riding motorcycle opened fire on these tankers which caught fire and destroyed.

Driver Shahzad of one of the tankers sustained injuries in firing and other made good his escape from the scene. Injured driver was referred to Quetta.

Miscreants ran away form the spot after opening fire on tankers. Quetta-Sibi section remained blocked for several hours due to fire in the tankers. (PPI)
