IG Sindh Police calls on Qaim

KARACHI: Newly posted Inspector General of Sindh Police Wajid Durrani after taking his charge called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at CM House on Friday.

CM Sindh stressed upon new IG to evolve prompt strategy and adopt concrete steps for peace in the province, especially in Karachi, where some miscreants are creating law and order situation.

Shah said that certain anti-social elements are involved in disturbing peaceful atmosphere of the province. He hoped that new IG will take stern action against criminals and anti-social elements.

Wajid Durrani assured CM that all-out efforts will be made to strictly maintain the peace particularly in Karachi. He was confident that with coordinated efforts the activities of criminals and anti-social elements will be crushed with iron hand.(PPI)
