MV Suez crew arrives in Karachi

KARACHI: PNS Zulfiqar carrying the crew of the MV Suez arrived in Karachi, Geo News reported.

Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad, Ansar Burney and family members of the Pakistani crew welcomed them back home. The crew included 4 Pakistanis, 6 Indians, 11 Egyptians, and 1 Sri Lankan and were kidnapped by Somali pirates and held hostage for ten months.

Speaking to the media after the arrival of the crew, human rights advocate, Ansar Burney thanked Navy Chief Admiral Noman Bashir and ISI Chief General Shuja Pasha for the role they played in bringing the crew back home.
