KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday ordered the provincial government and law enforcing agencies to provide security to the KESC officials, staff, its offices and installations as well as the consumers, Geo News reported.

SHC also issued directives for removing the hurdles from in front of the KESC offices.

The administration of KESC had submitted a petition at the SHC, complaining that the government had not been providing security to the utility.

A two-member bench issued the orders after hearing the petition.
