Services of Pak be acknowledged in war against terror: Petraeus

WASHINGTON: US General David Petraeus has stated that service of Pakistan should be acknowledged in war against terror, Geo News reported on Friday.

In his statement before US Senate Committee for Intelligence, Petraeus stated that thousands of army personnel, police and civilian Pakistani have rendered sacrifice of their lives in the war against terror.

The US General said Pakistan has to take more steps in this war against terror.

Petraeus further said CIA is conducting intelligence operations in various countries including Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen, adding that personal contacts, cyber technology and other resources would be used in this regard.
