LAHORE: 90,000 identity cards in Punjab will expire on June 30 and in light of this, NADRA has increased the renewal price by 50%, Geo News reported.

The information about the expiry of the ID cards was given by the General Manager NADRA, Colonel (R) Muhammed Iqbal in a conversation with Geo News. He said that the renewal fee for an ID card would be Rs 300 which is an increase of 50%.

He added that citizens have one month to renew their ID cards and people with expired ID cards cannot make a passport nor could they can vote in elections.
