Three explosions rock D I Khan police station

D I Khan: Three bomb explosions hit the city police station located in Kolachi area of Dera Ismail Khan as the armoured personnel carrier entered the premises of police station, Geo News reported.

According to the police official, building of the police station caught fire after the explosions while attackers were still present in police station.

Earlier, ten to twelve armed men attacked the police station martyring 6 police personnel and taking 25 other cops hostage.

Police official said that armed men were wearing suicide jackets.

Exchange of heavy fire between security forces and attackers continues while hand grenades and rocket launchers are also being used in the operation.
