FM Qureshi discusses IoK, royal couple’s Pakistan visit in meeting with British HC

The FM met with UK High Commissioner Thomas Drew today, where he made the statement regarding the occupied valley

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Thursday that the international community including Britain should try to ensure that Kashmiris are safe from Indian atrocities, adding that the curfew imposed in the valley since August 5 should be lifted.

The FM met with UK High Commissioner Thomas Drew today, where he made the statement regarding the occupied valley.

In his meeting with Drew, the foreign minister said that Pakistan is awaiting to welcome the royal couple to Pakistan.

Prince William and Kate Middleton will be coming to Pakistan on a four-day official trip, a statement by the Kensington Palace earlier said.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are due to visit the country between October 14 and 18.
