Seven killed in rain related incidents

LAHORE: Heavy rain with thunderstorm in the wee hours here on Wednesday provided a respite to people from humid and sultry weather.

At least seven people were killed and 23 hurt in rain related incidents across Punjab. Three people lost lives in Lahore and four in Sahiwal.

The rain with strong winds started early Tuesday which turned the weather pleasant for the whole day.

The Meteorological department has forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm in the provincial capital during the next 24 hours.
