Scattered rain to continue up country

LAHORE: Scattered thunderstorm/rain is expected over Kashmir Lahore, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi divisions in next 24 hours while isolated rain may also occur over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and south Punjab.

Some areas of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab and upper Khyber Paktunkhwa received shower along with thunderstorm in the past 24 hours, turning weather pleasant and decreasing the temperature.

In Okara, 57 mm of rain was recorded while in Sahiwal 32 mm and Lahore 16 mm rain was recorded.

Other areas receiving rain include Bhakkar, Dera Ismail Khan, Faisalabad, Khuzdar and Malam Jabba.
