Drive against spurious pesticides underway

LAHORE: The Punjab Agriculture Department has warned farmers against spurious pesticide and asked them to buy them from registered dealers only.

A spokesman of the Punjab Agriculture Department said on Saturday that farmers before buying pesticide should check their seal and packing properly.

He advised farmers not to buy pesticide from mobile vans or bus stands as they were spurious.

He said that a special drive against spurious pesticide was ongoing under the supervision of Agriculture Parliamentary Secretary Asif Manzoor Mohal on the direction of Punjab chief minister. (APP)
