MULTAN: Multan police have arrested 601 outlaws including proclaimed offenders allegedly involved in incidents of theft, dacoity and murder during months of May and June and recover valuables worth millions of rupees.
According to police sources, different police teams raided various places across the district and recovered 1018 bags of fake fertilizers, 4000 bottles of substandard pesticides, 70bags of substandard pepper.
The gangs busted are identified as Liaqat alias Waag's gang, Mohammad Asif alias Asso's gang, Insar gang, Abdur Rasheed alias Sheeda's gang and Soobay Khan gang.
The police recovered valuables, two cars, 20 motorcycles, one tractor, one computer, one laptop, two motor pumps, 22 mobile phones, 25 cattle from the arrested accused.
The teams also recovered illegal arms including five klashinkoves, 17 rifles, 20 guns, 163 pistols, 15 revolvers, two pistols, eight carbines, eight stabs and 729 bullets from theoutlaws. (APP)
