LAHORE: The energy shortfall in the country is 3700 MW and unannounced loadshedding in urban and rural areas has been increased, Geo News reported.

According to PEPCO spokesman, electricity generation is 13375 MW and demand is 17,000 MW. Despite this shortage KESC is being supplied 710 MW. People complain that PEPCO's claims of a decrease in the hours of loadhshedding due to pleasant weather were incorrect. According to PEPCO spokesman loadshedding is taking place according to schedule.
