Rivalry claims life

FAISALABAD: A young man was shot dead over an old rivalry in the area of Dijkot police station.

According to police, Zulfiqar Ahmad resident of Chak No.249-RB along with his friend Jarrar Ahmad was going to Chak No.243-RB on a tractor when 3 motorcyclists Rajab Ali, Nasir and Zaffar opened indiscriminate firing on them to avenge old enmity.

As a result, Zulfiqar died on the spot while Jarrar Ahmad was shifted to hospital in a critical condition.

Police have registered a case and started investigation.
