Rockets, hand grenades fired in Baldia town

KARACHI: Unidentified miscreants fired rockets and hurled hand grenades into residential areas resulting several houses were damaged and four people including a woman and a child were injured, Geo News reported on Friday.

According to reports, rockets were fired in Gujraat and Turk Muhallah, and KS Mujahid road of Baldia town 3. Panic has gripped these areas after rocket and hand grenade attacks.

Residents of these areas took to the streets and staged protest demonstration against the attacks. They said that law enforcement agencies have failed to control law and order situation.

Meanwhile, police conducted raids in these areas and held five suspects. Police also recovered weapons and motorcycle from the miscreants.
