LAHORE: Commenting on PPP leader Raja Riaz's statement, Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah on Thursday said members of the delegation accompanying Punjab chief minister Shahbaz Sharif were paying all expenses of the official visit to London from their own pocket.

He said that corruption was the culture of the PPP and tales of its corruption were a common knowledge both in and outside the country. He said that every one had appreciated the performance and good governance of Shahbaz Sharif. He said it was the problem of Raja Riaz & Co that they, instead of hardwork, demonstrate narrow-mindedness. Unlike leaders of PPP, the chief minister had not gone abroad on a pleasure trip, rather the foreign tour was aimed at motivating the foreign investors to make investment in Pakistan.

The law minister said that the dream of no confidence by PPP against the Punjab government would never be materialized. He said that, earlier, the PPP had also made futile efforts to topple the Punjab government by imposing the governor's rule.

He said he did not understand why Raja Riaz had not talked about the local-bodies election when he was a part of the Punjab government. He said it was unfortunate that the PPP could neither run the government nor play the role of opposition.
