Body of Karachi man who fell in 150-foot well still not pulled out a day later

KARACHI: The body of a man who fell to his death a day prior in a more than 150-foot-deep well in Quaidabad had still not been pulled out, as of Sunday

The man had fallen to his death in the well in Quaidabad's Saleh Muhammad Goth around 6PM on Saturday and a Navy boat, according to the residents of the area, was lowered into the well with the help of a crane but the attempt remained futile.

On the other hand, rescue officials ofEdhi Foundation also spent the entire night in a bid to retrieve the body but failed. The Navy officials were also still engaged in the rescue operation.

According to theresidents of the area, the deceased, Sabzil Magsi, was the resident of Malir's Old Thana Village.
