Two drown in a nullah

RAWALPINDI: A child and a young man drowned in a flooded nullah here on Friday, Rescue 1122 said.

An eight year old child, Abid, a resident of Tahli Mori slipped into the nullah while playing in the rain.

A young man, Muhammad Wali, jumped into the nullah and tried to rescue the boy, but he also lost his life.

In another incident, 11 years old Naseeb Ullah, a resident of Dhoke Choudrian was also playing in the rain when he slipped and fell into the nullah.

Rescue 1122 divers were searching for the bodies till filling of this report.
