FAISALABAD: The livestock department has formed special raiding teams to conduct raids in four towns of the city to check adulteration in meat.

According to district officer Livestock Dr Abdur Rehman, these teams will comprise of six veterinary doctors each.

He said that Dr. Ehsan-ul-Haq, Dr. Asif Butt, Dr. Mazhar Iqbal, Dr. Ejaz Ahmad, Dr. Saleem Anjum and Dr. Zafar Iqbal were appointed for Madina Town whereas Dr. Arshad Babar, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Dr. Asim Mehmod, Dr. Irshad Meer, Dr. Nadeem Babar and Dr. Maqsood Aalam will conduct raids in Iqbal Town.

Similarly, Dr. Akram, Dr. Tauseef Tahir, Dr. Liaqat Ali, Dr. Ata Ullah, Dr. Asghar Ali and Dr. Azhar Khan were deputed for Jinnah Town while Dr. Zahid Iqbal, Dr. Asim Rafiq, Dr. Faheem Riaz, Dr. Rizwan Haneef, Dr. Muhammad Imran and Dr. Javaid Iqbal will be responsible for checking adulteration in meat at Lyallpur Town, he added.( APP)
