Australian opener David Warner smashed an unbeaten 151 on the second day of the first Test against Pakistan on Friday, but his stay at the crease owed a lot to his luck.
The left-handed batsman, at one point in his innings, was facing Imran Khan Sr when he let a ball pitched well outside off leave, only to see it swing back in at the last minute.
By then, it was too late for Warner to offer a shot. The snickometer showed later that the ball had brushed past Warner's off stump, but much to everyone's surprise, it did not dismantle the bails.
The incident earned Warner another reprieve as earlier he had been caught behind off of the bowling of Naseem Shah on a no ball.
Warner did take full advantage, smashing a hundred and fifty laced with 10 founs off just 265 balls.
