SHEIKHUPURA: Five people including a married couple and their son were killed as a result of an old rivalry in Narang Mandi, Geo News reported.

According to police, there was an old rivalry between the Professor Shahbaz Working Group and the Aslam Group. On Tuesday morning Aslam was traveling to Lahore for his father’s murder case when the opposing group killed his wife in the village of Mouza Gochary and afterwards killed Aslam, his son and a friend Rizwan.

The firing also injured a bystander who later passed away. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the headquarter hospital Muridke for post mortem.

Prior to this, four including Aslam’s father and his son were killed as a result of this rivalry. The Narang Mandi police has arrested one individual, said police sources.
