ISLAMABAD: Different areas of Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir continued to receive rain in the past 24 hours while the system is expected to enter lower Sindh, Geo News reported.

Areas receiving rain include Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kakol, Mandi Bahauddin, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Joharabad, Jehlum and Sialkot.

According to met department, thunderstorm and rain in some areas of lower Sindh is expected in the next 24 hours.

Drizzle in Karachi with maximum temperature ranging between 32 to 34 degrees, while dust thunderstorm/rain is likely to occur at one or two places in Mirpurkhas division of Sindh, rain/thunderstorm at one or two places in Balochistan and hot and dry weather elsewhere in the region on Friday.

The highest maximum temperature of 45.5 degrees centigrade was recorded at Dalbandin and lowest minimum temperature of 17.0 degrees centigrade at Quetta (hill station) in Balochistan on Thursday.
